Brazoria County Compensation Survey

Quorum Compensation Group and the Economic Development Alliance for Brazoria County are working together to conduct a Local Area Compensation Survey for Brazoria County businesses. This survey is being conducted as part of the 2010 Texas Compensation and Benefits Survey™ conducted annually by Quorum since 1992.

The Brazoria County Compensation Survey will compare compensation for the jobs matched from all participants in Brazoria County. The survey report will also show regional and statewide data in comparison to Brazoria County.

Participation is available to all companies located in Brazoria County. This confidential survey collects data as of May 1, 2010. Participation is easy. Each participating company matches their positions to the Survey job descriptions, noting the level of match in job content and providing wage/salary and other pay related information for each job.

Benefits of Participation:

  • Receive local/regional/state compensation data for establishing fair and equitable pay (internal equity and external competitiveness), and for budgeting and planning.

  • Each Participant receives survey reports valued at more than $150, plus the individual company analysis that could be worth $200 to $500 depending on company size and number of job matches. These reports are prepared by a professional compensation consulting firm.

  • Your area chambers of commerce and economic development organizations gain valuable information about local industries and the local job market. They will have a valuable tool for use in attracting businesses to the area.

Participation is open through July 5, 2010, and the Brazoria County Compensation Survey report will be available approximately mid-September.

There is no charge to participate and no purchase is required. Participants receive the following reports, without charge:

  • Their individual company analysis which includes scattergram and regression analysis for Hourly, Non-Exempt, and Exempt employee groups;
  • The Executive Summary for the 2010 Texas Compensation & Benefits Survey;
  • The Brazoria County Compensation Survey.

Participants may purchase the detailed 2010 Texas Compensation & Benefits Survey™ (available late early September) at the discounted participant prices if they desire additional information.
